Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK)

Students who will turn 4 YEARS OLD between SEPTEMBER 2 - SEPTEMBER 1 may enroll in the Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) program.  

Please use the LAUSD AGE CALCULATOR to see if your child qualifies for UTK. 

This is a two year program.  Students will be enrolled in the UTK program the first year and a regular Kindergarten program the following year.
